Jake Bollman Scores Fourth-Place Finish at Madison, Extends ARCA Points Lead

Jake Bollman continued his consistent 2026 ARCA Menards Series campaign Friday night at Madison International Speedway, bringing the No. 20 Nitro Motorsports Toyota home with a fourth-place finish in the Atlas 200.

Bollman entered the 200-lap event holding a slim four-point advantage in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings, making every position at Madison especially important as the season entered its final stretch. The race also marked Jake's first ARCA start at the high-banked Wisconsin short track.

The No. 20 Nitro Motorsports Toyota showed speed throughout the weekend. Bollman finished sixth in practice before turning in a strong qualifying effort, posting a lap of 18.490 seconds at 97.350 mph to secure the fifth starting position.

Starting from inside the top five, Bollman immediately put himself in position to race with the leaders. Madison's high-banked half-mile layout is known for intense, close-quarters racing, and the 200-lap event featured numerous restarts that repeatedly bunched the field back together.

As the race progressed, Bollman maintained his position near the front while the Nitro Motorsports team worked to keep the No. 20 Toyota competitive through the changing conditions. The race featured a number of battles for the lead, with track position becoming increasingly important as the laps wound down.

Bollman remained in contention throughout the event and was able to capitalize on the late-race action to secure another top-five finish. A late caution with 15 laps remaining set up one final restart, but Bollman ultimately crossed the finish line in fourth, just 2.946 seconds behind the winner.

The fourth-place finish was another important result for Bollman's championship campaign. Entering Madison with a four-point advantage, Jake increased his lead to five points over his closest championship competitor with four races remaining in the 2026 season.

For Bollman and Nitro Motorsports, Madison continued a remarkable stretch of consistency. Even on a track he had never previously raced at in ARCA competition, Jake was able to qualify inside the top five, stay in contention throughout the 200-lap race, and bring home another valuable top-five finish.

With only four races remaining, the championship battle is entering its most important stage of the season. Bollman continues to hold the points lead, and another top-five finish at Madison gives the No. 20 team valuable momentum heading into the final stretch.
