Jake Bollman added another valuable weekend of road course experience to his growing 2026 season résumé this past Saturday at Lime Rock Park, competing in Round 4 of the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series.
Coming off a busy stretch of ARCA Menards Series competition, Bollman returned to the TA2 platform with Nitro Motorsports for one of the most unique road courses in American motorsports. Lime Rock Park’s fast, flowing layout demands precision, patience, and commitment, creating a major challenge for drivers adapting to the high-horsepower TA2 machines.
Entering the weekend, Bollman and the Nitro Motorsports team focused heavily on building speed and comfort throughout practice sessions while continuing to develop chemistry with the No. 90 Toyota Camry program. Testing and practice throughout the weekend allowed the team to dial in the car and continue making gains against a deep field of experienced TA2 competitors.
Race day brought an added challenge as wet and rainy conditions covered the Lime Rock circuit, creating slick track surfaces and limited visibility throughout the event. Changing weather conditions forced drivers to carefully manage braking zones, throttle control, and tire grip while navigating one of the fastest road courses on the schedule. Despite the difficult conditions, Bollman stayed composed throughout the race and continued building confidence in the rain-soaked conditions. The demanding weather made every lap a challenge, but the young driver avoided major mistakes and steadily worked through the field while managing the changing track conditions.
At the conclusion of the event, Bollman brought the No. 90 Nitro Motorsports Toyota home in 11th place, earning another solid finish while gaining critical experience in wet-weather road racing competition. The Lime Rock event also provided valuable preparation for Bollman ahead of the upcoming ARCA Menards Series Lime Rock Park 100 on July 11. With the ARCA Menards Series set to visit Lime Rock later this summer, every lap completed during the TA2 weekend gave Bollman additional familiarity with the circuit’s braking zones, racing lines, elevation changes, and passing opportunities.
The Lime Rock weekend continued Bollman’s growing presence in Trans Am competition after making his TA2 debut last season. Since first entering the series, Bollman has continued developing his road course racecraft and building experience against veteran competitors at some of the country’s most iconic tracks.
As Bollman continues balancing a packed schedule of ARCA Menards Series, TA2 competition, and CARS Tour racing, the Lime Rock weekend served as another important step forward in his continued growth behind the wheel. Between strong performances on the stock car side and additional seat time in Trans Am competition, Bollman continues establishing himself as one of the rising young talents to watch in American motorsports.
