General Tire 100 delivered another demanding challenge for drivers and teams this past weekend, and Jake Bollman rose to the occasion with a hard-fought top-10 finish at one of the most technical tracks on the ARCA Menards Series schedule.

Competing against a stacked field on the legendary road course at Watkins Glen International, Bollman showcased patience, consistency, and speed throughout the event. Behind the wheel of the No. 20 Nitro Motorsports Toyota, the young driver navigated multiple cautions, intense restarts, and the unique challenges that come with racing at Watkins Glen’s high-speed layout.

The day began with practice, running on a damp track. The Nitro Motorsports team focused on building a balanced car capable of handling the Glen’s fast corners and heavy braking zones. As the day progressed, Bollman continued gaining confidence and adapting to the constantly changing track conditions.

When the green flag dropped for Friday’s General Tire 100, the race quickly turned into a battle of survival and execution. Track position proved critical throughout the afternoon, with several cautions and tight racing keeping the field packed together. Bollman stayed composed through the chaos, avoiding trouble while keeping the No. 20 machine in the top-10.

Over the course of the race, Bollman demonstrated the maturity and discipline that has become a defining part of his rookie ARCA Menards Series campaign. Rather than overdriving the car or forcing risky moves, he focused on maintaining pace, protecting equipment, and capitalizing on opportunities as they developed throughout the event.

That strategy paid off with another strong result, as Bollman crossed the finish line inside the top 10 and added another solid points day to his 2026 season resume.

The finish continues a strong stretch of momentum for Bollman and the Nitro Motorsports organization, who have consistently shown speed and competitiveness throughout the opening portion of the season. Watkins Glen marked another important step forward as the team continues building experience on a variety of track types against some of the toughest competition in the series.

As the ARCA Menards Series schedule continues, Bollman and the No. 20 team will look to carry the momentum from Watkins Glen into Toldeo on May 16th and continue building on an already impressive rookie campaign.
