Bollman Returns to Victory Lane with Dominant Summer Shootout Finale Win

Jake Bollman made a triumphant return to the Cook Out Summer Shootout on Champions Night. Driving for Donnie St. Ours Racing, the former Cook Out Summer Shootout champion put together a flawless performance, leading every lap from the drop of the green flag to capture the Pro division victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Returning to the series where he has enjoyed tremendous success, Bollman climbed back behind the wheel of Donnie St. Ours' No. 22 Legend Car for the season finale. Although his focus in 2026 has shifted toward a full-time ARCA Menards Series schedule along with starts in the CARS Tour and Trans Am TA2 Series, the opportunity to compete in the Summer Shootout finale was one he couldn't pass up.

From the moment the green flag waved, Bollman left no doubt who had the fastest car. Starting at the front of the field, he immediately established control of the race and steadily built an advantage over the rest of the highly competitive Pro division. Even through traffic and changing race conditions, Bollman never relinquished the lead, putting together a perfect flag-to-flag victory in front of the Charlotte Motor Speedway crowd.

The victory was especially meaningful considering Bollman's history in the Cook Out Summer Shootout. As a previous Pro division champion, he has built an impressive résumé at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and his return to Victory Lane served as another reminder of the talent that helped launch his racing career. Throughout his Legend Car career, Bollman has consistently been one of the benchmark drivers in the division, and Champions Night was no exception.

The dominant performance also highlighted the versatility Bollman has developed over the past year. Between competing in the ARCA Menards Series, CARS Tour, TA2 competition, and now returning to a Legend Car, Bollman seamlessly adapted to a completely different style of race car and immediately found himself back in Victory Lane.
